Dr. Matthias Hülsewig advises companies from various sectors in intellectual property law, in particular in patent and utility model law. He is specialized in representing his clients in court in infringement and other legal disputes with a technical background. Dr. Matthias Hülsewig has particular experience in the field of standard essential patents and the related licensing under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms as well as in technology transfer law, in particular with regard to Germany/China. In addition, he advises in arbitration proceedings and related enforcement, the drafting of licensing agreements, R&D cooperations and the IP part of corporate due diligences. Dr. Matthias Hülsewig has particular expertise in the technical areas of telecommunication technology and electronics, mechanical engineering as well as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
